General Terms & Conditions Junior Dutch Open

Registration

  1. By sending in the registration form you indicate that the participant, parents, trainer and coach agree with the General Terms and Conditions of the Junior Dutch Open.
  2. Participation in this tournament is open to all NBF members and members with an IBF (International Bowling Federation) license up to 25 years (age limit: 1 September 2021). (art. 527)
  3. At the same time of registration it has to be indicated if a trainer/coach will be used. The trainer/coach has to be a certified bowling trainer/coach. When registering on the day of play, the tournament organization will check if the trainer/coach is certified.
  4. Registration for the Junior Dutch Open is official, when the payment for the entry/re-entry is received and confirmed by the organization.
  5. The entry fees are to be paid at all times, even in case of no-show.
  6. By sending in the entry form you agree that participant, parents, trainer and coach allowed to place pictures of the concerning persons on the website and social media.
  7. Participants will be classified according to age:
    • Division 1: Mixed up to 25 years
    • Division 2: Boys up to 19 years old
    • Division 3: Girls up to 19 years old
    • Division 4: Boys up to 16 years old
    • Division 5: Girls up to 16 years old
    • Division 6: Mixed up to 13 years
  8. Registration for the Desperado game is possible from 45 minutes before the start of the Desperado. It will be played immediately after the last series of the preliminaries.

Financial

  1. The entry fee is
    • Division 1: 55.00 Euros
    • Division 2: 50.00 Euros
    • Division 3: 50.00 Euros
    • Division 4: 50.00 Euros
    • Division 5: 50.00 Euros
    • Division 6: 45,00 Euros
  2. The registration fee for re-entries is:
    • Division 1: 50.00 Euros
    • Division 2: 45.00 Euros
    • Division 3: 45.00 Euros
    • Division 4: 45.00 Euros
    • Division 5: 45.00 Euros
    • Division 6: 40.00 Euros
  3. The entry fee for the Desperado game is 20 Euros for all classes.
  4. The entry fee has to be paid in advance after registration. Participants who have not paid the entry fee before the start of the series they are to play are not entitled to play.
  5. The entry fee must be paid in advance but no later than 4 weeks before the start of the tournament.

Restitution payment

  1. If a participant cancels within 4 weeks before the start of the tournament, the entry fee will be refunded by the organization withholding 5% administration and bank costs.
  2. If a participant cancels within one week before the tournament, the entry fee will only be fully refunded if a doctor’s note can be provided.
  3. In all other cases no entry fee will be refunded.
  4. In case of cancellation of the tournament through no fault of the organization (Covid-19) the entry fee will be refunded withholding 5% administration and bank charges.
  5. For the processing of payments the Junior Dutch Open uses Mollie (https://www.mollie.com/). To be able to receive payments your personal data will be shared with Mollie.

Code of Conduct

  1. With your registration you also agree to the code of conduct, as drawn up by the organization of the Junior Dutch Open. The complete code of conduct can be read on the website: Code of Conduct.
  2. The organization reserves the right at all times to refuse participants, parents, trainer(s) and coach(es) when they act in breach of the General Conditions or the Code of Conduct. This is described in article 527 paragraph 4 of the NBF sport regulations.
  3. During the tournament everyone has to stick to the instructions of the organization and the staff of Bowling Restaurant Menken.

Liability

  1. Participants, parents, trainers and coaches who cause damage during the tournament will be held liable by the organisation. The organisation of the Junior Dutch Open will recover the damage from the person(s) liable.
  2. Attendance at the Junior Dutch Open is at one’s own risk. The organisation can in no way be held responsible for theft, damage and/or loss of personal property of participants and/or visitors.
  3. Entering Menken Bowling Centre and the use of its bowling lanes by participants of the Junior Dutch Open is at their own risk.
  4. The Organisation of the Junior Dutch Open accepts no liability whatsoever for damage suffered or yet to be suffered by visitors and/or participants, parents, trainer(s) and coach(es) caused by whatever reason, unless that damage is caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of the Organisation of the Junior Dutch Open or by intent or gross negligence on the part of board members and/or volunteers of Bowling Vereniging Leiden Zuid-West.
  5. In case players, trainers/coaches, supervisors and parents/guardians do not, or not properly, meet the obligations as stated in these regulations, they are fully liable and obliged to compensate all direct and indirect damage suffered by the Organisation of the Junior Dutch Open as a result, or to be suffered by it in the future.

Acceptance of the registration and terms

  1. By sending in the registration form the player and his/her, parents, trainer and coach agree to the General Conditions of the Junior Dutch Open.
